More Satellite Services Available in 2009Welcome to your Campersat
Newsletter Welcome to this edition of the Campersat update for Travellers. Many of you may have heard of additional services available on satellite from your friends and travelling companions. Campersat is able to add these services to receiver programming for you to enjoy. Travellers should understand that the services listed in this bulletin are in many cases fortuitous and as such are as viewed by the general public.Campersat is pleased to offer travellers the option to add receiver programming for an additional 30+ TV shows to watch via satellite. Over the years, you have asked Campersat, " Why aren't there more FTA programs transmitted via satellite?" Well now there are! Campersat is pleased to offer travellers the option to not only add the ABC2 service via Optus D1, but an additional 30+ TV shows to watch via Optus D2 satellite. For travellers, it has never been easier to access these services via your Campersat FTA receiver!  There are a number of special interest free to air programs available via narrowcast. These programs include religious, comprehensive world news transmissions in addition to various foreign entertainment programming offered in languages such as English, Turkish, Russian, Italian, Greek, Vietnamese, Dutch, Thai, Arabic and more.  International TV channels are a rich source of intelligent, informative and entertaining program material, providing a real alternative to local broadcasts, and best of all, they are free!  For those travellers just interested in receiving ABC2 via D1, don't forget you also get SBS2 as well as ABC1 and SBS1, in all time zones (plus Hi-Definition ABC and SBS). So why wait? Narrowcast services are transmitted from the Optus D2 satellite, just one degree higher in elevation and ten degrees west of the Optus C1 satellite, (where our normal free to air programs are transmitted). To determine whether you have located D2, the tuning channel will appear (pictured above). For ABC 2 viewers, Optus D1 satellite is located ten degrees east of C1. TCC represents a wide variety of denominations as well as non-denominational churches. • GOD TV is committed to helping people in charitable ways. Its aim is to promote generosity and changing life experiences. TRT International - Turkish broadcasts for Turkish people living abroad. Services include news, entertainment, etc. • Al Forat is an Arabic broadcast broadcasting Arabic news, movies and music. • Al Anwar is an Arabic broadcast appealing to the world wide muslim community. • EWTN is dedicated to teaching the truth defined by the Catholic Church. • ERT World is a Greek broadcast previewing Greek news, sports, entertainment, documentaries including live games from Greece's top soccer league. • Pace TV- Italian Telepace TV broadcasts the finest and latest in news, music, and family programing. • Apostolic Oneness Network broadcasts in English the teachings of Jesus Christ. • 3 ABN The 3 Angels broadcast focuses on presenting programming aimed at people with drug and alcohol dependencies, family issues such as divorce and other factors effecting well being • NHK World - Japanese world news. Comprehensive news program in Japanese. • PPIO- The People of Indian Origin -(PIO) TV will focus on the Indian living outside India. It will present news, information and entertainment with special coverage on People of Indian Origin. • The Inspiration Network has become the fastest growing international Christian network in the world. Broadcasts life changing stories, opinions and life styles. • CGN TV is broadcasting to Korean missionaries living abroad. Deals with spiritual training and availability of resources. • TV Romania International broadcasts news, current affairs, entertainment, cultural programming for Romanians living abroad. • Duna TV - Israel programming on cultural and religious well being. • Trinity TBN is the world's largest religious network and America's most watched faith channel. • TBN offers 24 hours of commercial-free inspirational programming that appeal to people in a wide variety of Protestant, Catholic and Messianic Jewish denominations. • Salaam TV is an Islamic channel broadcast from Iran promoting understanding the co-existence among all faiths. It includes programs such as movies, music, news and entertainment. • Hope Channel International is a family friendly channel spanning the globe. Appeals to people of different ethnic groups and deals with life issues positively. • Kurdsat broadcasts in Arabic and Persian recent news and current affair programs for Kurdish people. • Surya Citra Televisi (SCTV) is an Indonesian television station. Features news, movies, music and much more • VTV4 - Vietnamese TV broadcast in English and Vietnamese sports, music, news and tourist attractions. • Smile of a Child is one of the largest religious networks offering 24 hours of commercial free viewing appealing to all religious denominations. • CTV – Arabic Choir • DMC is Thai TV broadcasting Thailands Buddhist teachings and meditation techniques. • Abu Dhabi TV is an Arabic channel broadcasting political programs, news, entertainment, current affairs and documentaries. • Supreme Master Television provides a variety of engaging programming in English with over 30 subtitles and 60 languages. Includes nature, entertainment, healthy living, music etc.• Aghapy TV is a Coptic Christian TV station broadcasting in Arabic via satellite to Coptic Christians in Egypt and in North America. • TGN is a Thai broadcast network previewing a variety of sports, new and entertainment. • Oman TV - Arabic Cultural programming, including news, religion and childrens animations. • JCTV is a Christian youth network designed for ages 13-30 years. Broadcasts include music, live sport events, concerts, video and talk shows to assist with issues faced in every day life. Videosat reserves the right to update or change any program listed.
