Videosat Pty Ltd design and manufacture the award winning Campersat EasySeek, a fixed satellite system for Motorhomes and caravans and winner of the 2002 CCIA Most Innovative Product of the Year Award.
This same award winning expertise brings you additional Campersat models including the Campersat Portable range of satellite systems for travellers who want to "stow and go" and our Fully Automatic Campersat AutoSeek roof top model, and now the SpeedRay 1000 manufactured by Raysat of Israel and USA has been added to our range.
Campersat EasySeek
Our award winning Campersat EasySeek is our most popular model. The mounting equipment is fixed permanently to the roof of the motor home and operates from the van or motorhome interior.
It has a simple wind up mechanism, interior controls and elevation display, which are used to set up and lock onto the satellite.
The Campersat EasySeek has a locking mechanism for travel and with the dish mounted on the roof so you don't need to use valuable interior storage space.
At first satellite technology can seem daunting, however, Campersat goes a long way to ensure that you'll be comfortable with your new equipment. Once you are familiar with your equipment, set up will take less than a few minutes.
Your Campersat EasySeek comes as a complete system package including dish, receiver/decoder, cabling, mount, free to air Smart Card, digital test meter, instruction manual and handy laminated chart to help you find the satellite anywhere in Australia.
Installation does not require special tools other than normal reliable handyman items.
The roof equipment is mounted on a tray with the inside equipment mounted on a control panel below. This is fastened to the tray making a solid installation. As supplied, this allows for roof thickness of between 15mm and 150mm.
The roof mounted wind up mechanism and dish is fitted to a heavy-duty powder coated aluminium-mounting tray allowing easy placement on the roof of the vehicle. Campersat AutoSeek
The Campersat AutoSeek is electrically operated and self seeks to lock on to satellite and stows down flat when not used or for travelling. The control system is self contained and powered by the German AutoSat System that has become well known in Europe and UK.
A key element in Automation for the Australian operation is the necessities to ensue proper receivers are used for each of the services. A key element of Campersat technical specification is the ability of Campersat equipment to be fully compatible with the dish electronics and the associated satellite receiver and decoder issues such as:
- Pay TV operators Foxtel and Austar's implementation of services on the new Optus D series satellites requires receiving equipment to be able to receiver signals from either C1 or D2. New or updated Foxtel installations have been configured to this for a year or so now in preparation.
- The built control system is completely independent of the service reciever(s). This allows dish electronics and receivers to be fitted that are 100% compatible with the broadcaster services. This is particularly appropriate with Foxtel and Austar who provide the receiver. Users are not permit access
- The Campersat AutoSeek is fitted with the appropriate LNB for your use so if your are taking Foxtel or Austar satellite receiver and card with you, you will be assured you will get all the channels you have paid for. This facility is ignored by some European imports using outdated European electronics. See separate bulletin M604 Using Campersat with other satellite services Foxtel - Austar SelecTV
- The Control system is housed in a separate control unit, wall mounted, and completely independent of receivers used.
- AutoSeek mechanism and control is 12 v powered with no current draw when locked onto satellite. The only power consumed is by the TV set and the appropriate satellite receiver.
- The Autoseek will automatically park when the vehicle ignition is activated. - A great safety feature. Click here to go to Campersat AutoSeek Pricing
